Mr Smirnis Anastasios – attorney – was born in Athens in 1977. He is married and a father of a child.
He is a Supreme Court lawyer and has been practicing consultative and effective law since 2005 with consistency and credibility.
He is an administrator of the registrations’ authority of the appointee office of the Athens Bar Association and an expert in electronic filing of documents and applications before the Courtrooms of Greece.
He possesses an expert knowledge of the contemporary means of technology and informatics and provides legal and judicial services with the use of secure signature-creation devices or digital signature, which according to the safety policy of the digital certificate of physical storage media, it equals legally with an actual signature.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of EDAM (Union Law for aliens and migration), serving in the position of second Vice President.
He is the legal assignee of the sports club by the name “Perseas Boxing Club”, and a member of the World Boxing Council – W.B.C, working as an administrator of the Non-Professional Boxing Club of Greece.
He has studied Law in Rome, Italy, initially at the University of ¨Tor Vergata¨ and has received his Law Degree from the University of ¨Universita` degli studi di Macerata¨
He has been a tutor for legal lessons for Greek students studying Law in Italian Universities, a legal advisor for the department of monitoring of the general management of public assets and national entailment (Finance Ministry and Treasury), at the Church of Agioi Anargyroi in Attica, and he was awarded an honorary Certificate for his contribution to the church, by His Beatitude The Archbishop of Athens and Greece Ieronymos.
He was a member of the editorial committee of the scientific magazine: “Inspection of Immigrant Law”
He has been a lecturer at the first Pan-Hellenic Convention of Union of Law for Aliens and Immigration, which took place on 20th and 21st November 2015 in the city of Volos, and the topic, was: “New technologies – Digital Signatures”.
In 2014 he was an advisor candidate for the Board of Directors of the Athens Bar Association on the elections that were conducted on the 27-28th of February 2014, as a member of the Party “Undivided Ballot” and the selective group “Erga Omnes”, lead by Mr Dimitrios Vervesos. The party supported the candidacy of the president of the Athens Bar Association Mr Vasileios Alexandris who prevailed in the affinity of lawyers.
During his professional life he has been involved with various cases and objects of Law, such as taxes, family law – parent-children relationships, divorces (consensual or not), orders of payment (issue and protection of debtors), postponements or suspensions of main house auctions of over-debt natural persons, conditional suspensions of sentences ,making payments and community work, drugs, participation in a criminal organization, personal injuries, Hellenic Food Authority, counterfeiting, seizure of false certificate, bribery, city-planning offences, checking of property deeds, correction of original documents in cadastral registries, objections to detention of citizens of third world countries, appeals to a higher administrative authority for foreigners, petitions for suspensions for administrative actions (fines, VAT), public authorities, etc. In 2012 he pioneered in suspending an auction of the main house of a debtor, for a time period of four years, and with a debt of over 250.000 €, where he withheld the auction, in combination with the provisions of the law 3869/2010 (Katseli’s Law).
He is an expert in adjusting loans, aliens and refugees Law, and matters of Emigrational Politics.
